The 2011-16 Powerstroke is without a doubt one of the most popular selling diesel vehicle on the market today. I have been a die hard Cummins man most of my life, and now I drive a 6.7L Ford. I don't care how die hard you may be, once you've towed with a 6.7L Powerstroke, yer gonna want one. The way the engine and transmission work together is a thing of art.
What is not a thing of art, is the factory single sequential turbo. They are very efficient and make very quick responsive horse power. When it comes to tuning them and asking for more power the stock turbo simply can't hang. We've been blowing these turbos up since they first came out in 2011.
If you are wanting to make more than 500hp then you are going to need an upgraded turbo. The BD Scorpion kit is one of the cleanest and nicest to install. We have installed more than 100 of them with nothing but happy customers.
