H&S Motorsports is proud to introduce the SX-E Turbo Kit for the 2011 - 2016 6.6L GM Duramax diesel! The Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) that comes equipped on the 6.6L LML Duramax from the factory can quickly become a liability when it is pushed beyond what the OEM designed it for. Excessive drive pressure and exhaust gas temperature are common issues associated with the factory VGT. Drive pressure is caused by a turbo that can produce more compressed air on the cold side, than it can release on the exhaust side. Ideal drive pressure is 1:1. n

Example: If the turbo is measuring 20lbs of pressurised air at the intake manifold of the engine, it should ideally only measure 20 PSI at the exhaust manifold. Most factory VGT turbos tend to operate around 2:1 or as bad as 3:1. So at 20 PSI at the intake manifold you would be seeing as high as 60 PSI at the exhaust manifold. These numbers may not seem like a big deal to you, but these numbers are EXACTLY what causes most major eninge failures. Blown head gaskets, bent rods, etc.

This kit is designed to replace the factory turbocharger with an aftermarket unit that will provide not only a significant performance increase, but also to gain reliability over the factory unit.

This kit was developed mainly for use with the S300 SX-E series turbochargers but may work with other turbochargers as well. The turbocharger pedestal included in this kit has a T4 flange.
