Mishimoto's engineers have maximized air flow by eliminating restrictive bends in the intercooler piping. The design and use of mandrel-bent 3.5" piping (.5" bigger dia than stock) allows air to flow smoothly and unimpeded. It looks sharp too with it's polished mirror finish.

Note
Disconnecting the A/C lines is necessary to remove the stock intercooler. It is recommended that the vehicle is taken to a certified A/C repair/service shop to have the A/C refrigerant properly evacuated before removing any stock intercooler components.
Relocation of the power steering cooler may be needed for H.O. (High Output) models.
